Description of Goods
The Hallucinate Art Project (operated by hallu, LLC) is a direct-to-consumer digital art e-commerce business that creates and sells premium, limited-edition digital art collections as Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs). The inaugural collection is a curated archive of 256 original digital artworks chronicling seminal moments in the history of Artificial Intelligence. Each artwork is paired with a historical placard and specific on-chain metadata, making it a collectible for technology professionals, researchers, and enthusiasts.
Every artwork is an original creation by Kenny Faase on behalf of hallu, LLC. To ensure full legal and financial compliance, our content strategy is built on deep artistic abstraction and poetic transformation of the subject matter.
Each of the 256 artworks is offered in four numbered editions — Friend, Benefactor, Champion, and Founder — corresponding to four supporter tiers at four price points. Each edition has a fixed supply of 4 copies. The image is the same across all four editions; the edition label, supply position (e.g., "2 of 4"), and price are what differ. The collection is implemented as a single ERC-1155 contract on the Polygon blockchain.
The Hallucinate Art Project sells only original artworks created by Kenny Faase and minted first-party by hallu, LLC. We do not operate a secondary marketplace, do not facilitate peer-to-peer NFT trades on this site, and do not mint or list artworks created by third parties. Every transaction on this site is a primary sale of original work directly from the artist to the buyer.
An ERC-2981 artist royalty is configured on the smart contract and is paid to hallu, LLC automatically by third-party marketplaces (e.g., OpenSea) that honor that standard when an NFT is resold there. We neither operate, host, nor endorse any specific secondary marketplace.

They are not part of the production 256-piece collection and are not offered for sale on this preview site. Each preview is shown with its working title, artistic style, and historical placard. Production artworks will be available across four editions (Friend $256, Benefactor $512, Champion $1,024, Founder $2,048 USD) when the collection launches.

The production collection will consist of 256 distinct artworks. Each will be issued as four numbered editions (Friend, Benefactor, Champion, Founder), with a fixed supply of 4 copies per edition — for a total of 1,024 token IDs and 4,096 NFTs across the entire collection. Edition labels, edition numbers (e.g., "2 of 4"), and provenance are recorded on-chain at the time of mint via an ERC-1155 Edition Drop contract on Polygon.
From browse to delivery
Choose one or more artworks from the collection. Each piece displays its title, artistic style, historical placard, edition, and a clear price in U.S. Dollars. You may purchase multiple NFTs in a single transaction via the shopping cart.
Sales are limited to customers with a U.S. billing address. You will be asked to enter your U.S. ZIP code, which we use to determine eligibility and to compute applicable sales tax.
Pay by credit or debit card through Stripe (USD) — or, if you prefer, pay in USDC (USD Coin, a dollar-pegged stablecoin) on Polygon from a connected wallet. The price you see is the price you pay; hallu, LLC absorbs all transaction fees and remits any applicable sales tax.
Delivery is custodial by default: after payment confirmation, your NFT is minted to a secure account tied to your email address — no crypto wallet required to purchase. You may connect a personal Polygon-compatible wallet at any time to transfer the NFT to your own custody.
You receive a personal, non-commercial display license to the artwork. The artist retains all underlying intellectual-property rights.

Each of the 256 artworks is offered in all four editions above. The image is identical across editions; edition labels, edition numbers, and the buyer's chosen support level are what differ. Buyers select the tier that reflects their willingness to support the project (subject to per-edition supply availability of 4 copies). The price you see is the price you pay — hallu, LLC absorbs all payment-processing fees and remits any applicable U.S. state and local sales tax based on the U.S. ZIP code provided at checkout.
Refund · Cancellation · Delivery · License · Compliance
Due to the immutable and irreversible nature of blockchain transactions, all sales are final and non-refundable once the artwork has been minted and delivered to the buyer's account. Once an NFT has been transferred on-chain, the transaction cannot be reversed by us, by Stripe, or by any blockchain participant.
Multi-item carts: if a single transaction includes multiple NFTs, refund eligibility is evaluated on a per-item basis. Items that have been minted are final; items that failed to mint due to a verifiable technical issue on our side are eligible for a full refund of that item's purchase price.
Exceptions: if you experience a verifiable technical failure during checkout (e.g., you were charged but no NFT was delivered), contact us within 30 days at support@hallu.art and we will investigate and issue a full refund where the failure is on our side or our delivery partners'.
We encourage you to review each artwork, edition, price in USD, artistic style, historical placard, and the terms of sale carefully before completing your purchase.
You may cancel a purchase at any time before the on-chain mint transaction is broadcast. Once the artwork has been minted to the buyer's account on the Polygon blockchain, that line item is final and cannot be cancelled.
Hallucinate is not a subscription service. There are no recurring charges. Each purchase is a one-time transaction for one or more specific artworks selected by the buyer.
Hallucinate sells digital goods. There is no physical shipment.
Purchasing a Hallucinate NFT grants you a personal, non-commercial, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to display the associated artwork in personal, non-commercial contexts (e.g., personal social media, personal websites, NFT-display devices).
The artist retains all copyright and underlying intellectual property rights in the artworks. You may not reproduce, distribute, create derivative works, or use the artwork for any commercial purpose without explicit written permission from hallu, LLC. Owning the NFT does not transfer copyright in the underlying artwork.
An ERC-2981 artist royalty is configured on the smart contract and is paid to hallu, LLC by third-party marketplaces that honor that standard when an NFT is resold. We do not operate, host, or endorse any specific secondary marketplace. Full license terms are detailed in our Terms of Service.
